Really thick, good quality paint. Very pleased.

I had the primer put on... then the next day it should have been on with the first top coat ...but when i opened the first box ...the tub was split ...so i got in contact with emperor paint ...and they sent me a new tub the next day...so i was able to get the 2 coats on in the next 2 days...it looks great so pleased with emperor paint...much better than any other masonry pain iv used...many thanks to emperor paint...

As a professional decorator I am always a bit wary of “new paints” hitting the market. I like to offer my clients quality materials, but I persuaded my client that we ought to try this paint out, especially in view of the claims about it. From opening the can, you can tell that this is a nice paint. Smells nice, has a lovely creamy consistency and no bits around the edges. Application is easy (brush & roller in this case) it went on like a dream. Even with just the first coat, you can tell that there is body to the paint. My client actually said how good the depth of colour was already. It’s a forgiving paint, no picture framing, no shuts, perfect touch up too, as it has a nice matt finish. I can’t speak for the longevity claims, but I will keep my eye on this job as a test piece.
To add to this, it isn’t the cheapest at £95 for 10 ltrs, but the price includes vat & delivery within 24 hours.
Verdict - Yes, I will definitely be using this new kid on the block again. So far, what’s not to like?

Bought a sample tub of the masonry paint to see for myself. Water ran straight off just as it says on the tin. Super.
