What is the drying time?
Emperor Textured Basecoat is touch dry and showerproof in 4 hours at 20°C. It must be allowed 24 hours at 20°C before you can paint the surface. Lower temperatures will extend the drying time.

Emperor Textured Basecoat is designed to repair and prepare exterior masonry surfaces. It helps fill cracks, holes and imperfections in render, brick and stone, creating an even base ready for painting.
Do I need to prep the wall before using a sample?
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt, organic growth and loose paint. Wash the wall with water and a stiff brush, treat any moss or mildew with an exterior cleaner, and repair larger cracks with exterior filler. Textured Basecoat can then be used to fill smaller cracks and imperfections.
